When I took these first two pictures it was already cold enough as to be terribly surprised when this mosquito landed on my left boot. Took a pictures of it just so the people will believe me that I saw a mosquito at this time (and temperature)!
Yesterday it snowed like in a fairytale and we were already happy for the prospects of visiting the local Advent market in snow & all. Well, till evening a warm storm came and melted almost all of this beautiful snow. The wind blew the whole night - making weird noises and all. Now I see we are going to have a sunny Sunday. So much for a white winter!
Happy Camera Critters day ;)!
ps: and since the discussion on the CC site was about Christmas carols, here is a Romanian classic. Enjoy!

Camera Critters at Sanssouci, Potsdam, Germany

So, all these guys were fighting for one lady. That must be pretty cool... but in the same time maybe it's difficult to choose.
No clue who the duck lady chose in the end, but I thank them all for being so patient with us, stupid humans taking tens of pictures... :)...The photos are again from the park of the Sansouci palace in Potsdam, Germany. An area like a jewel, with trees, flowers and birds, everything very well taken care of, for the delight of the visitors.

The admission to the park is free, but if you want, you can donate a few cents. On the other hand, the visits to the main palace have to be booked in advance.

Happy Camera Critters Sunday! For more cute, funny, crazy, wonderful critters, click on the logo!

the way to Melk - and a lazy Camera Critters post
You get on the ship at Krems. Than, take a comfortable seat in the sun or take cover next to the bar. In any case, listen to the true waltzer of the Danube waves. Look around you, at all the beauty created by nature, or by man. And when the trip has come to an end, prepare your soul and eyes for awe: here is the mighty Stift of Melk.

And since I wanted to take part also in Camera Critters, here is a picture from Schoenbrunn Zoo - a lazy picture for a lazy Sunday! To make things less serious :)!

Neusiedler Stadtfest: Camera Critters with Camel (CCC)

Another CCC today: a camel that I spotted in the middle of the festival. For sure, people were all around. As a supporter of the animal rights, I always have my doubts when I see such a thing, but on the other hand, Austria is a country that takes care about its animals, so this one was not abused, or tired, or in bad shape. Maybe just a little bit bored... :)Happy Sunday!

Camera Critters no.1
I was just wondering what would be the perfect time to post the-crazy-cat-chasing-for-a-fly-and-the-subsequent-result, when I got an invitation for Camera Critters . Thanks, Misty!
Have a great Sunday, everybody!
PS: for the picture yesterday, yes, you were all right: it's a train wash! It was the first time I have seen such a thing. Picture taken on the way from Cluj to Ploiesti, Romania.
Soooo...the cat story... We were in the study, working on the computer. When I say "we" I mean Peter, the cat, and I. All of a sudden, he jumps from behind my screen (his favourite place if I work), and starts running. I jumped for my camera too, expecting some action. Oh, my, if I only knew the result...
After waiting for a while, and me being bored, since there was no action.... he 's up! Oh, wow, motion , action, great shots, hubby will be thrilled to see this!
But I didn't see this coming! Peter hanging on my (hubby's!) favourite curtain!!!
The result? Take a look! Hubby's reaction: "Peter, you, Miststueck!"... but nothing more :)....
PS: hubby has no clue about these photos... shhhhhhhhhhh! And no, Peter did not catch the fly in the end :))!
Have a great Sunday, everybody!
