award
Yesterday Leena really made my day and awarded me with this
The thing is that I have to award this to ten other people, and I really cannot make up my mind... So, first of all, I sent it back to Leena, since her wonderful photos bright my day every day, and to all the others whose links are posted on the right side of my blog (less to my other two websites of course :)) ). So, my dear visitors, make sure you pick up your award. You really deserve it!

as seen in summer
Good morning! For whatever reason I brewed myself a horrible coffee this morning. Outside of the window everything is frozen (for few days I am in Bucharest, you'll see soon some photos). But inspite of the cold, fog and bleak outside, I thought I can go back to my archive to show you the place from yesterday in summer (back in June 2006, and in more colours). Hope you like it! Have a great Saturday!

futuristic lights
Good week to everybody! And Merry Christmas to all of you celebrating - as well as I do, the second time thou :), Orthodox Christmas (according to the old calendar). Srecan Bozic!
Let's start the week with something I really like in Vienna: lights of the buildings at night. Nevertheless, I have troubles remembering what's the name of the building to which this elevator belongs :))...

Deutschland in 24 h
A rush trip to Leipzig, Germany, for business. These are the only photos. But the trip was nice. I was a little bit scared by the speed on the German highways...
I have no clue what I did with the last picture :) - I supose I left the camera on, and it fired by itself...
Happy Sunday everyone! Here it snows again, like in a fairy tale!

I've been tagged!
First of all, I've been tagged by friend MedaM in Sarajevo. Let's see what's this about:
RULES*Start Copy Here* When it comes to New Year’s Resolutions we seem to fall into four categories: 1) quite serious about them, 2) be flippant about them, 3) do it because we feel pressured to, or 4) do not do them. So, the purpose of this little game is to let us know which category you are in. Copy from “*Start Copy Here*” through “*End Copy Here*” and post it. Before "*End Copy Here*" tell us who you are, your site(s) (with link) and your New Year’s Resolution, or not. Then tag as many others as you like, from one to your entire blogroll, your choice. If you like, create an intro paragraph to your post that also acknowledges who tagged you.
WHAT ARE MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS? I never make New Year Resolutions. I just hope I'll be a little bit of a better person this year...
For this game I would like to tag Mr. Ro_Pumpkin. So, what are your New Year resolutions?
And also look at the pictures to see what the Austrians do/buy to have a good year: a pig, a lady bug, a mushroom, a chimney sweeper, or some shamrock...
May you all enjoy the year!

a great party on the streets
take a look at the decorations in Vienna, then at the crowd celebrating the New Year. the fireworks you have already seen - you should know that they start really early, maybe earlier as 9 PM, and last till past midnight...
we really enjoy partying on the streets of Vienna, together with thousands of other people.
winter in Romania
Before going back to my Austria posts, because there are some things that I'd like to share with you, let me just post freshly baked - or shall I say frozen?- photos from my Romanian window 5 minutes ago. Of course it snowed, and of course the roads are almost impossible to drive on. No winter services, although huge money are paid to these winter services companies... And the mayor still stays in office!...

Happy New Year! Frohes Neues Jahr! La Multi Ani! Srecna Nova Godina!
Hello my friends, into the New Year! My wish for all of you is simple: have a good year, with health and peace, and lots of good photos!
Vienna comes back on uproad- Laras Welt. It was so hard to pick from the hundreds of photos, but in the end I just picked randomly: fireworks at Stephansdom at the change of years.
