Snow is also water, right? Ice too.
For this reason I take you for this Watery Wednesday to
Grossglockner, one of the most spectacular places in Austria. First, the
Grossglocknerstrasse, a place preferred by bikers, mountainbikers and trekkers as well.
And then, to the
Pasterze glacier, a stunning display of natural beauty. Enjoy!
Spectacular views of mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, and the sky! What more could you want! You had gorgeous weather too. Perhaps soon those same scenes will be covered with snow?
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Alps. Brings back memories of when I visited Mayerhofen a few years ago and spent a few days hiking in the high mountains.
ReplyDeleteWonderful scenery and photos.
ReplyDeleteThe glaciers are amazing!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the snow and glacier! Did I tell you how much I love snow? This summer I camped with friends for 5 days on Mt. Rainier in WA state and viewed the glaciers and snow as well as nice walking weather in some places. You have a beautiful country. I love learning more about it since part of my nationality is Austrian (and Hungarian and German and Lithuanian) besides being an American.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent sight!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm repeating myself, but those places are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are awesome. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing scenery. I love how the lush green gives way to the sugar-coating of snow. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSchöne Fotos vom Grossglockner, war schon lange nicht dort.
