It was cloudy, foggy, a little bit cold, slippery and, to top all these, rainy too. But as Frau Novala said, we had the glass half full and a wonderful time to go with it. No to mention the wonderful chocolate & banana cakes.
Hi Lara! Sorry for the delay, but a new year always brings new troubles... ;) A bit foggy, but lovely!!
Meanwhile a new blog is born: Blogtrotter Two! Hope you enjoy at least as much as the previous version and look forward to reading your comments! Have a great weekend!!! Gil
Your photos tell beautifully about this city! I have been there a short time going to Tatra mountains. On the airport I went to a telephone box and phoned to Finland. It worked well. When I came out, my friends asked, do I know somebody in Bratislava. I said, no, I called to Finland. They said, that look at writing over the door" Only domestic phones".It was about 30 years ago, before mobile phones :) Fortunately I did not read text before calling ;)
No matter of cloudy, rainy, foggy weather, you took wonderful series of photos. What wonderful views! I love your photos and your words full of optimism. Thanks for sharing!
Good way to look at life and chocolate and banana anything ain't half bad either!
ReplyDeleteBratislava looks nice with snow and mist.
ReplyDeleteBei Sonnenschein kann fast jeder gute Fotos machen!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. It reminds me of scenes in books I've read.I love how old it is, and the mist and snow give it mystery and character.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way I can catch up, so I'm just going to show up for now!
