On Friday was really hot. So was on Saturday and Sunday. Today I got soaking wet when a huge rain came down unexpectedly. I felt like these guys in the fountain! But I'm telling you, on Friday I envied them for being in that fountain...
Photographed at Belvedere Palace, Vienna, Austria. For Watery Wednesday.
Yes, it is true. The weather gone crazy. It is either heavy rain with flood or the weather will be so hot that I had to run into the air conditioned mall...lol. Have a nice cool day, Lara.
These towers of water look very inviting for a hot summer's day! I'm here shivering, and trying to be appreciative! It's very much winter in Australia!
@ Abraham: I must say that it was totally fun! I mean, the umbrella was useless (ok, my hair was dry, which was a nice thing), otherwise it was really a wet T-shirt & jeans contest :)). I felt like a kid, even if I had to wait almost an hour in the wind for the train. but, hey, these are the joys of summer!
hi everybody, and thank you for your visits! it was nice that you joined me in the water of this fountain ;), and I hope I sent a bit of warm weather even way back to Australia, to Greyscale Territory :).
That is what you need to do on a hot day. It's warming up nicely where I live as well. Thank God for air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteVielen Dank für diese "Flucht" in´s Schöne mitten in der Nacht, mehr als nur nötig. Das Bild herrlich anzuschaun. Einen schönen Mittwoch dir.

ReplyDeleteThe weather is still nice here, so your fountain would be as welcome as your head banner fruits. They look absolutely delicious.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about HOT...it is the same here. And water, to cool us down, is sublime.
ReplyDeleteMy Wednesday post -Tall Sail Ships Arriving. Lots of photos! Hope you can come take the tour with me!
Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI envy them, too. I love their faces. They seem to be enjoying the beautiful day you captured!

ReplyDeleteYes there have been days like that here in Scotland where I would love to have had a cooling down like this. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteWe have a heat wave right now so I would love to be in the middle of the fountain too. :)
ReplyDeletelooks like a nice place to be with lots of beautiful fountains
ReplyDeleteDid you feel like a kid again when you got soaking wet? I think I would. I really like your fountain and the photo of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog post about the sunflower being wrecked by the squirrels.
I am not going to be able to save the sunflower as we did all we could for it last night and this morning it looks even worse.
