My friend Lady Io (who writes in Romanian HERE and HERE and HERE) recently came back from a trip to Istanbul - one of her favourite cities. Seeing her photos, there is no wonder that she likes to return there every once in a while...This photo is one of many she brought back this time. I liked the presence of the artist, both in person, but also from the self portrait. Beautifully captured, Lady Io!
This is a stunning portrait. And it is presented against this unusual blue background that is a complimentary color of the reds and oranges in the man's face. Neat.
