A block of ice is hiding the sky . Behind it thou, no barriers, no limits, since the horizon is always a beginning, and never a stop.

cool Caribbean feeling

And when I say cool, I mean cool - as in freezing, actually! The photo is taken at Mole West, by the Neusiedler lake, in Austria and the title is inspired by the juniors who started laughing when they saw this image. At a first glance it could trick you with the summer feeling, but no, no more warm weather here.

It doesn't have to be a beach. it can be, for example, like here: from the small cave turned into a church follow the underground passage and than prepare to wow: the sea has just opened up in front of your eyes. Oh, well, too bad thou that some other people discovered this place before you. Solitude, good-bye! Chitchat, be welcomed!

Gazillions of tourists, gazillions of fish. The people go up and down the streets without a precise target, buying everything in their way, to throw it in the garbage later, at home. The fish just mind their own - very important - business.

resilient

yes, I know. everybody admires the resilient ones. but it is really NOT my piece of cake. if I am bored or if I had enough, oh, well, then I'm bored and I had enough. I am not the pretend type. and I'd rather speak out my mind. oooooooooooor, if I am to be resilient, I will break those waves with a big splash'n'roar. which, at the time, doesn't happen. because it's summer, and, funny enough, summer cools things down. actually, lazies things down. forget about big splashes, fiery words and bold decisions. now it's simply time to relax, wear flip-flops, a diva hat and whimsical dresses, sip a beer under an umbrella on a beach, the thing. revolution? thanks, but not now... [yawn]

Drachen Sachen and Other Wondrous Things about Summer

Stories about kites and other flying dragons? What are these people thinking about? I cannot deny that maybe up there, in the wind, the sun burns not so hot. Or that you can take a sip from a cloud somewhere, tasting like some other continent. Who knows what stories these flying things can tell? But, well... you know... I choose to think about more serious and down-to-earth things... like sipping a marvelous ice coffee at one of these bars in MuseumsQuartier...

This is our place of parade: all the cool people must show up here in summer. If you have a trendy new dress and don't show it here, oh, well, you bought it for nothing... ;). Of course you can also bring your flip-flops, but hey, from time to time it's nice to show up, to see and be seen, isn't it?

On Friday was really hot. So was on Saturday and Sunday. Today I got soaking wet when a huge rain came down unexpectedly. I felt like these guys in the fountain! But I'm telling you, on Friday I envied them for being in that fountain...
