but how about the trivial Alltag - the quotidian, the daily routine? how does that fit this picture?

Transalpina, Romania: my (friend's) world

I am not going to complain again that I miss (one of my) home(s). Because, if I am to accept the fact that I'm a traveler, I also have to accept that I cannot be in two places at once. Anyways, while talking to my friend Ramona on Sunday evening (that is until 1 AM in the morning, you know, girls talk...) I was also checking some photos from her last trip that she uploaded on facebook. No need to say that I was so impressed that I asked for one to publish here. And here it is: on Transalpina road, in Romania. Her world, my world. Enjoy!

My friend Lady Io (who writes in Romanian HERE and HERE and HERE) recently came back from a trip to Istanbul - one of her favourite cities. Seeing her photos, there is no wonder that she likes to return there every once in a while...

This photo is one of many she brought back this time. I liked the presence of the artist, both in person, but also from the self portrait. Beautifully captured, Lady Io!

Bratislava - the glass half full

It was cloudy, foggy, a little bit cold, slippery and, to top all these, rainy too. But as Frau Novala said, we had the glass half full and a wonderful time to go with it. No to mention the wonderful chocolate & banana cakes.

The first part of my course in Vienna is over. We had the last class on Friday. Maybe my/our teacher will visit this page, so I want to tell her Herzlichen Dank and to post a photo that she took with my camera on Friday. I like it so much, it's like the quintessence of the course we had together...

As I mentioned, yesterday it was Topolina's birthday. It was a great party for this incredibly young friend of ours. Great cake too :).
We left at about 3 AM. Bucharest was fully alive as you can see...
