I am travelling to Canada. Well, not really, only by reading. But this is where I am right now, fighting battles with stubborn stumps and tracing female identities in a man's world. In few words: I'm studying hard. Too less time to post some things here, but I'll be back. In the meantime, anyways, I has a day when we actually managed to pick all the apples.

back from holidays

Although a little bit late, Happy New Year, everyone! I am back already for a week, but in the meantime we had to do some more stuff for the house, of course. But I suppose we are kind of ok now, we have all the furniture in, still no carpets, but ok, who needs them :)?!We had no snow for Christmas or New Year, but we had some yesterday. Before I start showing you Austria in snowless winter, here is the dog & cat fun in the white wonder yesterday! My dogs love the snow, the cat was a little bit reluctant!Have a great weekend!

Pink Saturday in the new home

for sure we don't even find the plates in the new cupoards. everything is still new and crazy :). and, no, we didn't finish unpacking... :). the only thing that I managed was to secure the "treasures" on a shelf. so here they are, some of them pink, some of them not, but all going to take part in my Pink Saturday this week. don't forget to visit Bev, and the other participants, please!

relaxation

In the morning, our kitchen looks superb, with the sun rising in the window. I couldn't resist taking a picture. I liked the shadow of the Bierkrug on the wall :).

we moved

so we moved in the country. and as I'm writing, I am not sure I will fit in. or if it will fit to me. I wanted it, it's nice to have dogs and all, but I started already sighing for the urban landscape. take for example yesterday. I took a trip "to the big city", and yes, it was crowdy, but it was interesting to study the faces of the people, the dress codes of the youngsters. I am born & raised in the city. but on the other hand, here, in the country, I can see the sunrise in the backyard, and the sunset in the front yard. I need to decide what I like best...
