To the much despair of Herr Ratze :), we are still driving through snow-land. From Poiana Brasov, to go back to Bucharest, you can take the road via Sinaia, or via Cheia. We chose Cheia, since it's not so crowded.
In the meantime, they announced 15 C for today (initially 17, but oh, well, meteorologists...).
I've got this award from RUNEE: thank you very much! As usual, I cannot make up my mind, to whom shall this go, because you all have been teaching me so much! So this award goes to every blog owner I visited till now!
I tried not to breath when taking this picture- which without a tripod proved to be a difficult task :)). But I couldn't breath well anyways, so... :). It is a little bit shakey, but I liked the feeling... In the picture is the same area I showed you yesterday.
First of all, thank you for all good words! Leena was right: if they count for medicine than I am starting to feel better! Of course, still blowing nose, caughing & Co, but way better. For the weekend, since we had some stuff to celebrate, I took my better half and the flu along to Poiana Brasov. Mr. S. spent the day in the gym, I in the sauna (in a marvelous minty aroma). I tried to swim, but since I couldn't breath, that was not possible. The water seemed terribly cold, too. So after sauna, I just slept next to the pool.
Here is how the snow outside (yeah, I know, I am tired of white too...) looked from the window of our hotel.
Thanks everybody for passing by and for the nice words! This flu is a total mess: I look like Rudolf already, for much I am blowing my nose...
Anyways, I was going through the pictures in search for something to print out as a gift, and I found a tone of nice stuff that I didn't publish. So here is a little bit of archive item. The picture is taken in May 2007 in Mariazell, Austria. The sign says: Certified Beer Drinker (from the "Hopfen & Malz Universität" :)) ). I wish I had one with "certified aspirin drinker" - that's what I am doing currently :)).
Have a great Friday!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Alexandra! She is my friend and German teacher.
Not a big deal, just the flu. Enough as to keep me indoors, because I cannot breath too well. And my nose hurts inside with every breath, too. So does my throat. And my neck. And still, I cannot stay in bed. Thank God for the mobile phones and the email - I can also work from home. And here is my treatment: hot milk with a huge shot of rum (I go to sleep for a while after posting this), Kaminfeuer tea...
and some marvelous honey. Have a sweet day, everybody!
Thanks everybody for answering the yesterday's question. In fact, D.C. Confidential got it right: wheat. And now start laughing: for the cats! And they love it! (In the picture is one pot already starting to grow).
