retro
I don't know about you, but for me, when I look to some pictures from when I was a child, the colours are strange. Time melted them, turning them to reddish. I was playing in photoshop with these photos from the Antique Fair in Bucharest and look what came out. They are so similar to those from my childhood...
Happy Thursaday!

Project green: Romanian traditional hand painted Easter eggs
The more tired I get, the more I enjoy blogging and playing in photoshop. I have the feeling these activities relax me. Looking so forward for the short holiday coming soon.
This photo gets into Anna's Project Green and belongs to the Village Museum series, was taken on Saturday, during the outdoor Romanian class. The lady painting these eggs will be shown soon too.
Happy Tuesday!
PS: Orthodox Easter next Sunday, April 27th.

looking through Transilvania
As I was mentioning earlier, I worked this weekend. But my job is a fun one: we had an intensive class of Romanian for foreigners, so we took our students to have lessons outside in the park. We reached Parcul Herastrau and, for sure, the absolutelly stunning Village Museum. This sign points to the various sections of the musem. Can you read it? This photo was intended as a contribution to Project Looking Through. Great idea, Mark!
PS: 1.More Peter adventures? He is staying with my mom for the next days... And guess what he did today, after destroying a carton box? He ate her food... she cooked some fish, did not pay attention for 5 seconds... and... :))... LOL!
2. Thanks everybody for visiting, I promise I'll check your posts asap. It's 10 PM here, and I have just arrived from work.

Camera Critters no.1
I was just wondering what would be the perfect time to post the-crazy-cat-chasing-for-a-fly-and-the-subsequent-result, when I got an invitation for Camera Critters . Thanks, Misty!
Have a great Sunday, everybody!
PS: for the picture yesterday, yes, you were all right: it's a train wash! It was the first time I have seen such a thing. Picture taken on the way from Cluj to Ploiesti, Romania.
Soooo...the cat story... We were in the study, working on the computer. When I say "we" I mean Peter, the cat, and I. All of a sudden, he jumps from behind my screen (his favourite place if I work), and starts running. I jumped for my camera too, expecting some action. Oh, my, if I only knew the result...
After waiting for a while, and me being bored, since there was no action.... he 's up! Oh, wow, motion , action, great shots, hubby will be thrilled to see this! But I didn't see this coming! Peter hanging on my (hubby's!) favourite curtain!!!The result? Take a look! Hubby's reaction: "Peter, you, Miststueck!"... but nothing more :)....
PS: hubby has no clue about these photos... shhhhhhhhhhh! And no, Peter did not catch the fly in the end :))!

Have a great Saturday! And don't forget to click HERE for my Harley Davidson blog, even if you don't really like bikes...

uproad
It's not easy in Romania: the infrastructure is not the best. So, sometimes, not even a 4-wheel-drive will help you. But walking is so fine!

a collection of spring flowers
In the forest, at high altitude, we could only find these signs of spring. Some of them would fit into Anna's yellow project as well :)
Have a great Wednesday!

Sky Watch - my first post
Today I decided to join this wonderful group of sky watchers. For the first post I chose some archive items, which, for whatever reason, never succedeed in being published before. Two of the pictures are from last spring, one from last summer. They all have one thing in common: they are taken from my balcony.
We have 26 C today! Yupee!

of land, people and sheep
Huge open spaces.
Train runs, the hills pass by.
In different colours.
Scattered on a vast landscape, sheep like moving whitish spots. No other soul around, just these beasts and their sheppard. In silence, from hill to hill, where the best grass grows.
Have a great Thursday!

Little House on the Prairie
The stress lately strikes on my health. I am really tired lately, my system is upside down. Plus that stupid flu that is not entirely gone. I hope some vitamins will help.
In the meantime, here are some photos from the way back from Cluj. I was shooting through the train window, hence the poor quality. But I guess it makes up a funny collection of houses.
Have a great stressfree Wednesday!
