one more photo from this last summer- I always got the blues at the end, when I see the first yellow leaves. this picture was taken on sunday, people are rushing because heavy rain was pouring down... too bad that my camera didn't catch the rain too. so now you know what I want as a birthday present: NEW BETTER camera :))!

this is a very nice ideea for a tent. we saw this Austrian guy (considering the licence plate he is from Graz) in Vama Veche, at the Romanian seaside. if any of you knows who this is, we would appreciate the info. please spread the word. the guy was sound asleep (can of Goesser next to him :) ) and we did not want to distrurb him. so we decided to look for him via internet. thanks!

tea rituals

one of my best friends took me - finally!!!- to this tea-place (tea- garden? whatever... not only a tea room - thanks, Suz!) in Bucharest. i really enjoyed the experience- what was not to enjoy?! i had good tea and perfect company...

i like very much old posters. this one we found in the middle of the forest, next to the monastery of Crasna, somewhere in the mountains in Buzau county. it says: please do not smoke, do not wear indecent clothes within the monastery premises, nor do play loud music on radio.

this is what is left of the salt mountain in Slanic Prahova, in Romania, Prahova county, somewhere 50 km or so from the industrial city of Ploiesti (famous for its oil fields and refineries).

old times of Ploiesti

i got very much into old houses these days, especially thanks to seesaw and the other people taking photos of caryatids. i realized that there are lots to be discovered in this romanian province city. plenty of time to do that today, herr s. is again in a business trip (eh... hate the weekends without him, hate the time in general without him...). but i am really satisfied with today, let's take a look at what i've got. oh, i still have to complain about the people parking their vans in front of exquisite old buildings, so the wannabe photographer couldn't do her job properly...
and one more thing: i wonder why people don't realize what beautiful buildings they've got, and let them in ruin...
