Rust - city of storcks (2)

I totally love Burgenland. It gives me a peaceful feeling. Strolling around the lake, or on the lake when it's frozen in winter is among the things I like doing when there. I also like visiting these small villages around. Here are some more pictures. Remember, they were taken one day before Catholic Easter.
Happy Wednesday!

  1. This is beautiful set of photos, Lara. I especially like the first one. The light from one side and the shade from the other side with the clouds building above make the photo more beautiful and interesting.

This gives us a nice idea how lovely wandering around should be.

  4. Burgenland is lovely, indeed. How could you not be crazy about it? :) That first photo shows what people have to do to keep their chimneys in working order. Almost every one of them has been claimed by a stork!

  9. Very beautiful village. I would love to take a walk in the village and admire the daily life there. I have a quiz in my post today, you would like to view it. :)

  10. I like visiting small towns too. They all have their own personalities like the individual colorful homes in your first photo.
