Good Monday morning! A little bit confused by the summer hour, here I am before starting my office work. Today we are in Rust, another wonderful place in the Burgenland. Famous for its architecture, but also for its impressive number of storcks gathering here for the warm season, Rust is a constant tourist attraction, this also due to the fact that the locals know how to "use" the image of these wonderful creatures.
PS: do not read the name in English... has nothing to do with "rusty pipes", for example :))
I have never heard of the city called Rust. I learned something new. It looks like a very interesting town.
ReplyDeletevery interesting town!

A town called Rust with storcks must be a nice place to take some photos ...
ReplyDeleteIf storks like it there (and the name of the town is Rust), that ought to be a very humid/marshy area :)
ReplyDeleteThat mosaic is very informative, very nicely done. Amazing how a tiny little bird that weighs only 75 gr at birth will develop into such a large stork, isn't?
Have a nice Monday. :)
It looks a beayiful place... and I laughed at you English comment about Rusty...:O)
ReplyDeleteIts very solemn there! No city rush much like in Wien....pretty sight, but how's the weather?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, well done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. I would love to see a stork!

ReplyDeleteWollte Dich nur darauf aufmerksam machen, dass die Uhr (heute am 1. April 2008) auf Deinem Blog noch europaeische Winterzeit anzeigt.
It looks a nice place!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a stork, too!
