For the Pink Saturday this week I chose a street scene in Sighisoara (at the Medieval Festival) last year. Yes, I am using my archive since we don't go out much - work and house cover most of our time :).
Have a great weekend and don't forget to visit other pink environments by following the link on the logo above.
If you want to see more Sighisoara scenes, follow the label below.

add it to the tea
There was a lady selling hats at the fair. So everybody got one. Maybe he got his for free, being surrounded of so much sweetness :). What you think?

cold vs. cosy
Yesterday it rained. Today it's really foggy. So I decided today I'll be really cosy. And publish a nice photo. This one is from Spittelberg Christmas market in Vienna. In their bubbles, although sometimes snows, it always seems so warm and cosy...

relax, it's Friday
Again a spa picture - Rogner Bad Blumau (click the link for details. The buildings are fabulous, designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser). At night, when going home after a great relaxing day... It's Friday, let's not think about Big Brother today...
This is also a good oportunity to come back to Sky Watch Friday - haven't been there in a while, and moreover, never participated with a night sky... let alone a night sky reflected into water...

warmth & other issues
A spa picture again - from the outside, too. Trying to relax, at least by remembering the nice feelings from the sauna...We already started an online petition against that horrible Romanian law about tracking and registering our phone calls. What amazes me is the comments of the people: some of them really don't care. They don't see this as a violation of our privacy. Even a friend of mine said, when I sent her the link: "oh, come on! I really don't mind this..." How indoctrinated are we? How inactive? How bored? We don't give a sh**! Too sad...

relaxation
What a better way of taking your mind off the daily business than spa? Hot water, sauna, massage - simply delicious!

where is our freedom?!
Last night my aunt calls me with an amazing news: starting with the 20th of January, 2009, all, I mean ALL our phonecalls and our sms will be monitored, traced down, recorded by the phone companies, be it mobile or fixed line. Also, from the 15th of March, 2009, all our internet activity will be monitored and registered. Good bye privacy, good bye confidentiality, good bye... freedom?! Is Ceausescu alive again?! I am indeed speechless to be able to comment this any further. The law is from November, 2008. Nobody knew about it, nobody talked about it. The press is 99% silent about this. I WANT TO GO AWAY FROM ROMANIA!!!
Is this happening in any other country in the civilized world?!

Six random things about me
I've been tagged by HPY . And I thank her for that, it's a pleasant task. And no, I didn't finish my translation first, I started writing.
I hate having a boss. For this reason I am working as a freelance. We'll see with this financial crisis what's on... :)
I appear to be a very possitive person. In fact, I am utterly depressed :)).
I am lazy. This is why I work hard, to be able to vanquish this fabrication fault.
I like to eat - and chocolate is among my favourites, as well as heavy totally not healthy traditional dishes. This is why I play lots of sports.
I like books. And this is why I try not to see the movie - most of the time it sucks.
I like travelling. A lot.
I am tagging friends Lara (not myself! the other one :), although I have the feeling she has already done this...), Alice in Singapore, Jackie in Glasgow, Wiley, Leena, Meda in Sarajevo.

back from holidays
Although a little bit late, Happy New Year, everyone! I am back already for a week, but in the meantime we had to do some more stuff for the house, of course. But I suppose we are kind of ok now, we have all the furniture in, still no carpets, but ok, who needs them :)?!We had no snow for Christmas or New Year, but we had some yesterday. Before I start showing you Austria in snowless winter, here is the dog & cat fun in the white wonder yesterday! My dogs love the snow, the cat was a little bit reluctant!Have a great weekend!
