Ljubljana, Slovenija
When we arrived in Ljubljana (or Laibach, for the German language speakers) it was the first day of calendar autumn, a little bit nostalgic, but still very much warm and joyful. The first day of school filled the streets of the downtown with a noisy crowd, screaming from the top of their lungs "we are back, city, no more silence!". A colorful bunch, sometimes rude (is this agressivity a "must" for the teenagers?!), but nevertheless beautiful and fresh. A nice addition to an impressive city, and a factor that helped me feel less nostalgic about my lost Yugoslav roots.Happy Wednesday!
