Pink Saturday with a celebration
One year since Bev started Pink Saturday! Can you believe this? And what better way to celebrate than taking on a sexy and beautiful Austrian Dirndl?
Well done, Bev!

Sky watching in Romania
The sky above the back of an old volcano (old as in prehistoric or such... really old :) ), Buzau county, Romania.

beyond the fence
If you leave the main roads, Romania can prove spectacular. Rural and simple, like in the beginnings.

postcards from Romania
Somewhere, in the middle of nowhere, in Romania. Away from civilization, between the walls of a pre-historic volcano.

Pink Saturday and a nice shop
Again/still in Potsdam, Germany. The shop window of a local (I guess) designer looked so nice, and having such nice tile decorations that I couldn't resist :).

Sky Watch in Potsdam, Germany
The Dutch quarter in Potsdam is indeed one of the places where you can stroll, stress-free and with a smile on your face. (as an answer to HPY's question on comments: the Germans asked the Dutch to come and work here. When the Dutch arrived they had a surprise: they had to build their own houses. Hence these buidings.)A place where, apart from the architecture, you can go and visit small charming shops, restaurants and have great coffee and cake in a cafe at the corner of the street.
Sounds good, right? For more skies, follow the link by clicking the logo above!

the wall - in Berlin, Germany
Not the one from Pink Floyd. Or maybe exactly that one. In any case, a wall which should never be allowed again! The Berlin wall - a history of injustice in few concrete bricks... Have a serene week!
how to create a badge: a tutorial
Hi everybody, and thanks for answering my call! In the meantime I found a really simple tutorial which teaches you (provided you already have the image for your badge) to generate a code.
HERE you can find it. It's great, done mine in 5 minutes!

HELP NEEDED - I need a badge!
Hi everyone,
Please can anyone help me with creating a badge and a code? For you to know what I mean, I need something similar to the Camera Critters badges HERE . I need this for my anti- garbage blog that I have together with two other friends (a Romanian language blog, protesting against having too much garbage dumped all over the place in Romania).
If you have any clue about this, I would appreciate the help!
Thanks!

Camera Critters at Sanssouci, Potsdam, Germany
So, all these guys were fighting for one lady. That must be pretty cool... but in the same time maybe it's difficult to choose. No clue who the duck lady chose in the end, but I thank them all for being so patient with us, stupid humans taking tens of pictures... :)...
The photos are again from the park of the Sansouci palace in Potsdam, Germany. An area like a jewel, with trees, flowers and birds, everything very well taken care of, for the delight of the visitors.
The admission to the park is free, but if you want, you can donate a few cents. On the other hand, the visits to the main palace have to be booked in advance.

Sunday lunch invitation for 3 years of blogging on Uproad: how about some asparagus?
While in Germany, for each dinner I has asparagus - Spargel in German. It's a wonderful veggie! With sauce hollandaise and new potatoes it's a marvel! And I guess it makes also a wonderful Suday lunch. So you are all invited, and hope you enjoy it: today Uproad/Laras Welt turns 3! So here is also a glass of virtual champagne for 3 years of great blogging experience!Photos from the Saturday market in Potsdam, Germany.

Pink Saturday at the Flohmarkt
In a Flohmarkt you can find many reasures. Too bad that I would never pay so much money to get any of these, no matter how cute. I think they are highly overpriced.Happy Pink Saturday!

watching the sky... SansSouci
@ Sanssouci palace, in Potsdam, Germany. A real architectural treasure, a place that you must visit. Roccocco splendour, English garden contemplation and a German way of keeping everything in good shape make the palace and the city of Potsdam a great place to spend few days... without a care :)!
