We are still in Slanic Prahova, and oh, well, getting black is one of the favourite activities. And I don't mean here getting a tan, but actually getting... black! Click on the image to enlarge it and you will see... More tomorrow!
They use the mud as cure against all sorts of things, from rheumatic issues, to skin problems, etc.
Happy Wednesday!
An interesting event. very nice!
ReplyDeleteMud has always been said to be a good cure in the Eastern parts of Europe.
ReplyDeleteI too have heard that the mud can help against many of healthy problems. Interesting and beautiful photo, Lara!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I'm afraid if I couldn't see everything in the water I would be afraid of some slimy creature attaching to me. I'll bet the mud feels good, though.
ReplyDeleteNow that's more like it! I got black in Turkey and felt amazing afterwards! (though there is a hideous photo of me which hopefully won't be making its way onto the internet any time soon).
ReplyDeletewow. that's nice. mud is really known to cure lot's of illness even im my country.
ReplyDeleteInteresting ritual. Kids must love it. Women pay lots of money for mud treatments at health spas:)
ReplyDeleteLouise, the water is so salty that nothing can live there :). So it's safe! Although I must confess sometimes I have the same fears :))!
