Skywatching in Vienna

Gasometer. The statue of Maria Theresia.Rathaus (the City Hall)UNO City.Schwechat Refinery.... and these beauties are just a few from the wonderful things reaching up for the sky in Vienna (yes, I know it's weird, but I find the refineries cool - poisoning, but cool :) ).

  1. Lovely blog! I was ice-skating in front of the Rathaus in Vienna a couple of weeks ago!

  2. With that kind of archive, you have nothing to complain about (at least when it comes to posting)!

  3. I am as fascinated by the refineries as you are! I have a few pictures on my blog which I took last spring. One of these days I will photograph them at night - passing by there on the way to the airport they are such an eerie sight, like a huge spaceship or such.

If it is of any comfort to you,
it's raining in Vienna, grey in grey.

(I have a brother who loves Romania, he has travelled around there a lot, he even speaks the language.)
