Good Monday morning! I had a sleepless night, because apparently flu is all over me again, for whatever reason. My head aches, my throat is beyond sore, and I still have to work.
Nevertheless, as I mentioned some parts of Buzau last time, here I come today with a map and two photos. The colours are not too great since the light was rather grey, but the rock formation is worth the posting.
These are the first flowers I saw in the mountains this spring. Somewhere past Gura Teghii (more photos to come, it's a spectacular area). I need to post some maps I guess... Anyways, happy weekend! Enjoy the sun and the warm weather!
Although I am not melancholic at all, since weekend is coming and maybe I get the chance to relax a little bit.
...I mean, mainly against stupid people throwing these wherever...
Good Monday morning! We are still in Buzau, still on the rivers of salt. Some pretty amazing views, right? Water coming right out of a stone, running down the valley, covering all in white. Too bad for the PET bottles left behind by some people unable to recognize the beauty and the unicity of the place... 
Buzau county in Romania was one of the most amazing discoveries. The yesterday post showed you a part of the same hills that I am posting today. And no, there is no snow. 
This is pure salt, coming out through the skin of the earth. An amazing view, a place worth visiting at any time.
Still very much hectic at work, but weekend is coming, and although I'll keep working, I plan lots of good sleep and some posting here.

To the much despair of Herr Ratze :), we are still driving through snow-land. From Poiana Brasov, to go back to Bucharest, you can take the road via Sinaia, or via Cheia. We chose Cheia, since it's not so crowded.

This looked so funny! Among other "serious pictures" this smiling hippo car drew my attention...

Well, not exactly. Same part of the Poiana Brasov, the next morning, hidden in fog. And then it started snowing. A fairy-tale!
I tried not to breath when taking this picture- which without a tripod proved to be a difficult task :)). But I couldn't breath well anyways, so... :). It is a little bit shakey, but I liked the feeling... In the picture is the same area I showed you yesterday.
First of all, thank you for all good words! Leena was right: if they count for medicine than I am starting to feel better! Of course, still blowing nose, caughing & Co, but way better. For the weekend, since we had some stuff to celebrate, I took my better half and the flu along to Poiana Brasov. Mr. S. spent the day in the gym, I in the sauna (in a marvelous minty aroma). I tried to swim, but since I couldn't breath, that was not possible. The water seemed terribly cold, too. So after sauna, I just slept next to the pool.
Thanks everybody for passing by and for the nice words! This flu is a total mess: I look like Rudolf already, for much I am blowing my nose...

Still on the balcony, looking around what's going on here, since the weather outside is grumpy - no sign of spring today...
Today was a real spring day in the city: warm, jumping with excitement, birds singing. So this green from the plants-in-the-pots is welcome.
Keep going along the road marked by the electricity poles, and you reach in few hours Buzau. or stop, turn on the country road to your right, and take some photos. Enjoy the colours and the air.
